Good-bye, Lilac…Hello, Hydrangea!
We love the changing seasons – not the 100 degree weather ushering in June – the season of Hydrangea.
Antique hydrangea – blues into purples, greens, and aqua’s or the deep pink hydrangeas cut fresh this weekend out of Rick and Christopher’s garden.
We relish that rare moment, just a brief couple of days where as one season ends and another begins we are able to combine the best of Spring and Summer. As lilac season drew to a close this week, and hydrangea season began, we were able to unite both in a stunning Memorial Day weekend wedding.
Deep purple hydrangea, brilliant pink peonies, and lavender roses in the elegant wreath complimented the chuppa and garden-style aisle treatment of “planted” boxes filled with deep purple lilac and more lavender roses.
Born This Way- Mother Nature creates as she sees fit. We couldn’t help but share her unique beauty.
